And now the news:

---------- HOTBIRD 3
HotBird 3 has successfully reached its allotted orbital position of 13
degrees east, and is now testing on all frequencies. Official
transmissions will begin on September 30th, with MTV 2 (Hungary) being
one of the first channels to start, in analogue. Also to be broadcast
from HotBird 3 are ERT, the Greek satellite channel currently found on
Eutelsat II-F2, and a Swiss digital package. The chart can of course be
found at http://www.sat-net.com/sat-uk/sats/eutelhb3.html

---------- FEEDS NEWS
All those of you who have always wanted to find PanAmSat 3R at 43
degrees west, but have never been able to lock onto an analogue signal
are in luck - there are several PAL feeds currently being broadcast on
various frequencies.
