Somebody must have been turning the antenna's of this satellite
yesterday night (especially A6). From the morning TB3 on transponder 17,
4.125 Ghz, Rc, had sparkies, the Ku-Band transponder on 11.525 GHz, Rc
is hardly visible anymore.
The signal levels of AST are as strong as before.
Anybody observed the same ?

The Discovery Channel is due to appear in the DStv bouquet of the
Showtime Network from tommorow, January 6th. The specific channel number
is not yet known. Discovery ceased on the Orbit Network from Intelsat
703 as of 31.12.1996. (Showtime/1stNet: 11.464/11.524/11.649 GHz, H, SR
19638, FEC 7/8)

Yesterday it was ATV's turn to pause for a day, on transponder 4, 10.970
GHz, V.
That's what happens if you not comply with Turkeys broadcasting laws.
ATV opened again punctual at 23:00 CET (midnight in Turkey).

A undefined signal was sighted on transponder 7, 3.725 GHz, Rc.

AMOS 1, 4 West, SATCO-DX: http://www.satcodx.com/amos1.html

Israel 1 on transponder 1L, 10.968 GHz, V, changed TV sound to 7.20 MHz
(6.60 MHz therefore empty)
Israel 3 on transponder 1U, 11.015 GHz, V, changed TV sound to 7.20 MHz
(6.60 MHz therefore empty)

Transponder 4U, 11.510 GHz, V, was activated for a feed.

Transponder 5U, 11.596 GHz, V, shows a B&W test card with empty carriers
on 6.60 and 7.20 MHz. A strange sound frequency was also observed: 5.54
MHz.
