Spanish Radio Plans On Satellite
MADRID, Spain, 1997/11/03 (TS) -- On October 30, all Radio Nacional de
Espana radio stations ended analog transmisions from Hispasat transpoder 27
(12,226 L) next and are now only available by digital (SCPC system, 11 Ghz)
transmisions from the same satellite, but not for public access. Currently,
they are broadcasting using this system for terrestrials links. Digital
radio on Hot Bird 1 also ended.

  From December, the networks are planning to switch from Canal 24 H to Hot
Bird 3. The new service will include R1, R3, R5 and REE, probably on the
TVE Internacional transponder.
