NHK has started on 4,034 H, MPEG-2/PowerVu, SR 26470, FEC 3/4,
line-up: NHK World Premium (enc.) and NHK World TV (clear).
It's exactly the same line-up as on PAS 2.

SCT has left 11,146 H (PAL).
SCT has started on 11,658 V, PAL/PingPong, 23:15-00:45 CET.

SCT has left 12,092 H (MPEG-2).
EuroNews/Super Shop has replaced Onyx on 12,092 H, MPEG-2/clear.

SCT has left 12,111 V (MPEG-2).
EuroNews/Super Shop has replaced Onyx on 12,111 V, MPEG-2/clear.

Polonia 1 is back, now on 12,303 V, MPEG-2/clear.
Viva Zwei has started on 12,149 V, MPEG-2/clear.
Abu Dhabi TV has started on 12,380 V, MPEG-2/clear.

ERT International has left 4,040 H (MPEG-2).

Abu Dhabi TV has started on 3,920 V (tp 11), NTSC/clear.

Test carriers on 11,930 H and 12,110 H in USA, confirming
that this beam is now switched from South America to USA.

--- LIVE Real Audio:

Echostar 4 was successfully launched with Proton at 23:45 UTC
on 7 May. It will replace Echostar 1 at 119 West, which in turn
will be moved to 148 West.


--- Internal:
The number of counted visitors to SATCO DX Satellite Chart
passed one million on 5 May!

The Weekly SATCO DX Update mail for 17 May is cancelled due to
Cable & Satellite '98 in London, 18-20 May. The next update mail
will be out on 24 May, and cover two weeks instead of one week.
