Intelsat 801 is now located at 64 East.

--- Astra 1B:  http://www.satcodx.com/astra1b.shtml
ORB has started officially on 11,656 V (tp 30), PAL/clear.

--- Astra 1D:  http://www.satcodx.com/astra1d.shtml
Sudwest 3 Rheinland-Pfalz has replaced Phoenix on 10,891 H
(tp 61), PAL/clear.

--- Astra 1F:  http://www.satcodx.com/astra1f.shtml
TW 1 (Austria) has started on 12,168 V, MPEG-2/clear.

--- Eutelsat II f1:  http://www.satcodx.com/e2f1.shtml
Canal 24 Horas has left 11,658 V, moved to Hot Bird 2.

Canal 24 Horas has started on 11,785 H, PAL/clear.

SCT - Satisfaction Club TV has started on 11,977 H,
PAL/PingPong, 00-04 CET.

Eurotica Rendez-Vous has started on 12,265 V, D2-MAC/Eurocrypt,
wide beam. They have left Hot Bird 2: 11,785 H.

IRIB's Jaam-e-Jam TV Network (Iran) is testing/promoting their
new service on 12,437 H, PAL/clear, wide beam.

SCT - Satisfaction Club TV has left 11,163 H and is now
only on Hot Bird 2.

The in-orbit tests are now finished and the satellite is operational.

Canal 24 Horas has started on 11,643 H, MPEG-2/clear.

--- TDRS 4 at 41W:  http://www.satcodx.com/tdrs4.shtml
ERT Sat has started on 3,960 H, NTSC/clear.

Venezolana de TV has left 3,898 L.

Footprint maps added for both the regional and national beams.

The remaining 33 radio channels (all on the East beam) have been
added to the DirecTV Latin America chart.


====== SATELLITE LAUNCHES:  http://www.satcodx.com/launches.shtml
On 2 December, JCSAT 5 was successfully launched with Ariane V103,
after a 17 minutes delay due to unacceptable winds over the site.

On 2 December, Astra 1G was successfully launched with Proton.

The next Ariane launch (V104) is scheduled for 20 December,
to carry Intelsat 804.

The launch of Chinastar 1 with Long March is delayed from
7 December to 20 February.
