SATCO DX Satellite Chart - Updates 28 July - 3 August

This is a summary of last week's updates to the service.

TV Centr has started on 11,476 V, SECAM


--- Kopernikus 3:  http://www.satcodx.com/k3.html
Sat. 1 has left 11,475 H in PAL
QVC Germany and Sat. 1 (in MPEG-2) have also left.

Sky Soap and The History Channel have started on Astra 1B:
11,568 V (tp 24), PAL/Videocrypt 1

Sky Travel and Sky Movies Gold have started on Astra 1C:
11,127 V, PAL/Videocrypt 1. Galavision used to be there 24h,
but is now only 06-12 CET, softencrypted in Videocrypt 1.

Canal + 1 and Canal + 2 have replaced the Benelux versions of
FilmNet on 12,441 V, MPEG-2/enc. Several other channels have
moved around in the Multichoice package

to be co-located with GALS 1/2 there.

NEPC TV (India) is back on 4,060 L, PAL after one month's
disappearance.

Number One TV has moved from Eutelsat II f3 to Turksat 1C:
11,023 V, MPEG-2

Glob TV and Super Kanal have started on Turksat 1B, MPEG-2

Med TV has left 11,075 V, and is now on Eutelsat II f2.

Baztab (Iran) has started on 4,160 H, PAL, 17-18 UTC.

Prime Network has moved from Satcom C1: 3,720 H (C1-01)
to Satcom C3: 3,920 V (C3-11)

Superbird C was successfully launched with Atlas on 28 July,
will be located at 144 East.

--- Two satellite launches this week:
* 8 August at 05:46-06:46 UTC: PAS 6 with Ariane V98,
  to be located at 43 West, for South America.
* 8-10 August: Agila 2 with Long March, to be located at 144 East.
