Dear Bjorn !

Scifi channel is on TV-SAT 0.6o West, 12.054LC.
This is the official location.

The footprint for this satellite is scandinavia only and you need a
large antenna to be able to receive it from outside scandinavia.

I live in Vienna/Austria and receive all channels from 0.6-1 deg West with
a 60cm dish and a 0.7db Universal LNC. OK - there are a few sparlkies
on the circular polarized channels, but generally it works quite fine.

JFYI

Cheers, Stefan!

Just to correct this eroneous post - The Travel Channel announced
several months ago its intention to cease its *analogue* transmissions
via 27.5 degrees west with effect from December 31st 1996.

From January 1st 1997 The Travel Channel is only available via *digital*
capacity on Astra.
