black and white test cards could be observed, at times the carriers

During most of the testing period no subcarriers were present. Morning
transmissions on both transponder have been cancelled.

TURKSAT 1C, 42 East, http://www.satcodx.com/t1c.html

----------
Maroccan RTM-1 C-band transponder 11, 3.925 GHz, Rc, was prior to the
early programm start today, used for the transmission of a religious

The transmission quality was poor, not only in signal strength, and no
audio subcarrier could be observed.

The pricing for Multichoice Hellas package from widebeam transponder 55,

-----------
The news pages have been updated again. The Tips pages have been
extended with two pages explaining some technical terms: one covering
the analogue world, the other giving details about digital transmission
terminologie.

However DX'r and other professionals be warned:
This is ment for SAT beginners, so don't call me up and ask me for a
detailed explanation of QPSK.
Any better or simpler explanation of individual terms is of course
welcome at any time to my mailbox...

Unfortunately is the analogue page not completed yet, it's just a matter
of time consuming typing.

Best regards,

Henk C. Room / Sat-MidEast / Cairo - Egypt
