THE HEADLINES IN THIS REPORT:

- MBC ceased
- Kuwait TV returned
- VoA on Eutelsat
- Bits & Pieces

GORIZONT 22, 40 East, SATCO-DX: http://www.satcodx.com/g22.html
-----------
On txpr 11, 3.925 GHz, Rc, was on the air this afternoon with another
commercial broadcasting. Late evening broadcasts on this txpr are by
NVS.
On txpr 10, 3.875 GHz, the famous Rendez Vous txpr, a digital txm of
unknown nature could be seen during the early evening hours.

GALS 1/2, 36 East, SATCO-DX: http://www.satcodx.com/gals1.html
--------
Today it was possible for me to divide the txm from the two satellites.
They were drifting apart quite a bit. Txpr 1, 12.166 GHz, Rc, and txpr
3, 11.835 GHz, Rc, seem to be one one satellite; txpr 3, 11.766 GHz, Rc,
and txpr 2, 11.919 GHz, Rc, on the other.

ARABSAT 1C, 30.5 East, SATCO-DX: http://www.satcodx.com/a1c.html
----------
MBC on txpr 22, 4.109 GHz, Lc, has ceased today.

That leaves only Oman, Jordan and Marocco with regular programming on
this satellite, beside the ASBU feeds.
Oman is already broadcasting on the Arabsat 2A, and Marocco has still
an, almost, identical programm running on the Eutelsat II-f3.
Jordan didn't finalize the up-link station yet, so they will be the
first to take the advantages of the Arabsat 2B, hopefully soon.

ARABSAT 2A, 26 East, SATCO-DX: http://www.satcodx.com/a2a.html
----------
KST Kuwait TV did re-appear this evening on txpr 7, 12.646 GHz, H, with
an improved picture quality. The up-link problems seems to have been
solved. Kuwait TV was almost for two full days interupted in the Ku-Band

EUTELSAT II-f3, 16 East, SATCO-DX: http://www.satcodx.com/e2f3.html
--------------
Txpr 32, 11.556 GHz, H, given up from January 1st by TV-Plus, and lately
used for C-Span governemental broadcasts from the US, will feature a TV
txm from the Voice of America Networks in direction Serbia, from early
next year. The programm, which is called "America calling Serbia," will
be txm Mondays to Fridays from 23:00-23:45 hours in Serbian. A TV sound
carrier will be on 6.60 Mhz. The txpr is presently switched onto the
superbeam, a change is not to be expected.

EUTELSAT II-f2, 10 East, SATCO-DX: http://www.satcodx.com/e2f2.html
--------------
The EbS txpr 21, 11.080 East was used for a soccer feed in Syster, with
stadium sounds on 6.60 MHz, and empty carriers on 7.02 and 7.20 MHz.

Best regards,
