Live-Video von der Erde

In cooperation with the Technical University of Berlin/Germany, Dr.Dish
is looking for cooperation with owners of satellite monitor stations
with the following equipment:

A dish (minimum 180cm), able to track a sun-synchron satellite in the
s-band.
Able to receive FM-video in this band and to store this video and report
to a central station.

The satellite will carry a video-camera with 3 objectives and zoom and
is steerable from the groundstation. This means, from each place on
earth live coverage is possible. drdish@tv will carry the launch of the
satellite in September 1998, which takes place in India. In a later show
viewers of drdish@tv can request by phone to get a shot of a favorite
place direct from the satellite.

In order to get the launch live from India to Europe a satellite
provider is needed to carry the launch in digital scpc free of charge.

In Zusammenarbeit mit der TU, Berlin sucht drdish@tv Monitorstationen
mit der folgenden Ausstattung:

Antenne mit s-band (min. 180cm), faehig einem sonnen-synchronen
Satelliten zu folgen.
Receiver um das Videosignal (FM) zu empfangen und es aufzuzeichnen.
Die Monitorstation sollte  einer Zentrale Bericht erstatten.

Der geplante Satellit wird über eine Videokamera verfügen und
Live-Bilder in hoher Aufloesung zur Erde senden. die Kamera hat drei
Objektive, Zoom und ist durch die Bodenstation steuerbar. D.h.fast jeder
Punkt auf der Erde kann auf Wunsch beobachtet werden.
Der Satellit wird durch einen indischen Launcher im September 1998 in
den Orbit gebracht und drdish@tv plant den Start zu übertragen. Zu
einem  späeteren Zeitpunkt haben die Zuschauer von drdish@tv die
Gelegenheit die Kamera per Telefonanruf in der Sendung auf ihr
Wunschziel zu richten.

Um den Start von Indien nach Europa zu übertragen, wird ein
Satelliten-Betreiber gesucht, der bereit ist das signal kostenlos
(digital scpc) zu übertragen. Betreiber sollten Kontakt aufnehmen mit:
